ABOUT US
Dr. Virginia Kleman is a fellowship-trained clinical neuropsychologist practicing in beautiful Spokane, Washington. She is a PNW native who completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Portland before going on to earn her Master of Science and Doctorate of Psychology degrees at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She completed her APA-accredited predoctoral psychology internship at the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, Illinois. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas.
After completing her postdoctoral training, Dr. Kleman practiced in Omaha, Nebraska and specialized in presurgical evaluations for epilepsy and liver transplant, in addition to evaluations for dementia, movement disorders, strokes, head injuries, and other chronic medical conditions. Dr. Kleman and her family moved to Spokane in 2015 and she began working at the Spokane VAMC. In 2023, Dr. Kleman opened Lilac City Neuropsychology and specializes in geriatrics.
In her spare time, Dr. Kleman enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, along with their menagerie of pets. She loves to bake, watch movies, and is a dedicated rock/crystal nerd.
